Aircel is the first Indian mobile operator to start the concept of free roaming. All Indian carriers to start this concept according to a TRAI Act proposed last year. However, the carrier is offering ”One nation, one rate’ concept through a special voucher available at Rs 25 exclusively for the consumers of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
This voucher helps you retaining home circle traffic while you roam in Aircel’s other circles. This includes free incoming call during roaming, no extra SMS cost and no extra charges on subscribed data plans. In my knowledge there is no charges applied to data plans. However, Aircel is proposing the same once again. Here is what they are offering-
Aircel Starts One India Plan
Aircel One nation, one rate STV
Voice – Local/National calling at 1paisa/second in Home circle as well as on roaming on Aircel network. Incoming calls while on Roaming on Aircel network will be free
SMS – Local and National SMS at Re 1/SMS in Home circle as well as while on Roaming
Data – User will be able to carry the home circle rate while on roaming
Currently Andhra Pradesh consumers can use this special tariff voucher. Soon it will be rolled out in other circles.

Can any one tell..is Aircel is closing down in Andhrapradesh also….if yes why these new plans are intorduced…….????
