Alcatel One Touch Idol X is the first full HD phablet that equips a quad core processor. Currently the craze of full HD smartphones is very high in market. Therefore, all manufacturers have started showcasing their high-end products in one of the largest tech festivals; it’s none other than Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona Spain. Anyway, Alcatel is not known for producing high-end devices. This time they have opted for MediaTek MT6589 which is not too powerful but a decent one to be exact. There is a 13 MP rear camera that records full HD video. I haven’t mentioned that Alcatel One Touch Idol X is built on Android 4.2 JellyBean.
Alcatel One Touch Idol X is really a light-weight and slim device. I’s measured to have a thickness of just 7.1 mm which is really impressive. But the most disappointing part of the phablet is 2000 mAh battery. It’s certainly not the best in business. To get best possible battery life Alcatel should have included at least a 2500 mAH battery.
