ASUS Memo Pad Smart tablet is finally unveiled. We were expecting the tab to release during the Mobile World Congress but ASUS is no longer interested in keeping buyers on hold till the end of this month. Taiwanese vendor announced the 10.1 inch ASUS Memo Pad Smart tablet in Mobile Expo in Thailand. Built on Android 4.1 JellyBean ASUS Memo Pad Smart tablet is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 SoC. Till date Tegra 3 is one of the best SoC solutions available in market.
ASUS Google Nexus 7 uses the same chip. It sports 10.1 inch IPS LCD WXGA display. Dual camera are there; rear facing 5 MP camera that can record 720p HD video while front facing 1.2 MP camera is there as well. Possibly, it lacks SIM card slot. May be a 3G variant of the tab to follow.
