Blackberry Q10 is the first trademark QWERTY smartphone from RIM to run the latest version of BlackBerry OS, BB10. One more thing in this regard, RIM or Research in Motion is now BlackBerry. The Canadian giant changed the name of their company to BlackBerry and it’s going to be listed by NASDAQ as BBRY. New caption for BlackBerry is set to “One brand. One promise.” Now coming back to BlackBerry Q10, it sports 3.1 inch AMOLED Capacitive touch screen with 720×720 pixels resolution at 328 ppi. For a QWERTY smartphone these specs are impressive.

Built on BlackBerry 10 operating system it’s powered by TI OMAP 4470 chip where dual Cortex A9 cores are clocked at 1.5 GHz and PowerVR SGX544 GPU is there. RAM is bumped to 2 GB. Q10 equips the same camera unit that is spotted in flagship BlackBerry Z10. It sports a rear facing 8 MP camera with auto focus, LED flash and full HD 1080p video recording support. Front facing camera is present too. Now the new version of BBM supports video chat which is pretty exciting. Li-Ion 1800 mAh battery delivers approx 10 hrs of backup.
