Karbonn Mobile soon will unveil a quad core smartphone. It’s very much expected from Karbonn Mobiles as Karbonn will be competing with other manufacturers in quad core segment this year. Micromax Canvas 3 is almost certain but we do not have much info on Karbonn as of now. According to TheMobileIndian an official of Karbonn Mobiles confirmed the news. But they seem reluctant to disclose much on this so early. Possibly, MediaTek MT6589 is what they are aiming at as it’s the cheapest quad core SoC.
In case Indian manufacturers starts using quad core processor with 512 MB RAM it will certainly disappoint the customers. Everybody is focusing more on RAM as it’s much needed than CPU cores. Hopefully, 1 GB RAM will be there in Karbonn Quad Core Smartphone. Out of the box JellyBean is also certain.

Upcoming Karbonn Quad Core smartphone will support dual sim smartphone. MediaTek MT6589 supports 3D Cool suite, dual sim card support, up to 13 MP camera, full HD video recording. Expected price is Rs. 13,000. More than may prove to be too much. Well, MTK6589 couples 4 Cortex A7 cores clocked at 1-1.2 GHz and PowerVR SGX544 GPU. Graphics performance will be better than the previous version of GPU PowerVR SGX531. Let’s see the final outcome.
