Micromax A101 is now listed by Flipkart. Previously we saw the droid in Homeshop18. Micromax is yet to list the handset in their official website. However, the handset is quite interesting as it’s slightly better than A100 but not as good as A110. You can see the droid is over-priced. It costs more than A110. Therefore, you can expect the handset to flop as most of the customers would tend to buy flagship A110. The reason might be, Micromax is looking to replace A100 by this one.
In that case, how this claims Rs. 10,200, 200 bucks extra as compared to A110 when the rear camera is downgraded to 5 MP from 8 MP. Rest of the features are same. Built on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich the handset is powered by dual core 1 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM. Slightly bigger 2100 mAH battery is supplied with Micromax A101 whereas Micromax A110 uses 2000 mAH battery.
