Nokia finally unveils flagship Lumia 920, Lumia 820 for the Indian market. Since the official launch we have gone through tons of rumors. Now these two premium Windows Phone 8 smartphones are launched in less crowded Windows Phone market India. In India Nokia is not doing too well. Although in last quarter the Finish giant retained the number uno position in India it’s just because of the Asha series feature phones. Hopefully, this time we will see positive response from Indian consumers.
In lesser price segment Nokia Lumia 620 is also coming in market by February. Nokia Lumia 920 comes with several patented features like 8.7 MP PureView camera, PureMotion HD+ display etc. In hardware segment it equips dual core Krait processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. It’s actually Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 SoC. Nokia Lumia 820 is equipped with similar specs but the camera uses Carl Ziess lens only; no PureView technology is inside the camera. Also the display is AMOLED and slightly smaller that the flagship.

In the same event Nokia also officially unveiled Lumia 620, the only affordable Windows Phone 8 smartphone announced so far by Nokia. It’s coming to the stores by February. Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 are already listed by Flipkart and Saholic at Rs. 36,999 and Rs. 26,999 respectively. Hopefully, the price of Nokia Lumia 620 will be Rs. 16,999, the trend actually suggests this.
Full specs of Huawei Ascend W1
Nokia Lumia 620 equips dual core Snapdragon S4 clocked at 1 GHz. Huawei Ascend W1 is the cheapest Windows Phone announced so far. Lumia 620 comes with better specs. Quite naturally it will get higher price tag. If you are interested in a Windows Phone 8 smartphone wit for the Ascend W1. Otherwise, it lesser price you will get Lumia 510 that runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango.
Soon all Nokia Lumia series smartphones running Windows 7.5 will get upgrade to 7.8. Last month Nokia announced the update. Now it looks by the end of this month you will receive the OTA update.
