We have two new Nokia Lumia devices in this years Mobile World Congress. We already know that Nokia was readying couple of Windows Phone 8 smartphones and few Asha series smartphones for this years MWC. Now both the WP8 devices viz. Nokia Lumia 720 and Nokia Lumia 520 are official. Nokia is giving some serious hardware boost in all these handsets. Dual core processor may not sound too impressive to you but remember these are Krait based Snapdragon S4 Plus, very good in business. Lumia 720 gets Carl Ziess teaser lens 6.7 MP camera with impressive f/1.9 inch aperture. Possibly, it’s a PureView camera. But I can’t conform this as it’s not claimed as of now. We also expected Nokia Lumia 1000 with 41 MP PureView camera in this years MWC. But this hasn’t happened for some reason.
Nokia Lumia 720 sports 4.3 inch touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 scratch resistant coating on display. It comes with 8 GB ROM and micro SD card slot expandable up to 64 GB. In connectivity front NFC is an impressive features so as dual band Wi-Fi. HSPA+ modem is already there for faster data network connectivity with max download speed of 21 Mbps. It gets a giant 2000 mAH battery that promises to deliver 23 hrs of talk time in 2G network and 13 hrs of talk time in 3G network.

In contrast of the specs of Lumia 720 the sibling Nokia Lumia 520 looks slightly off focus. It gets the same processor, RAM but display size is reduced to 4 inch and camera is downgraded to 5 MP. Also the battery size is considerably small. It gets a 1430 mAH battery that is expected to deliver 9 hrs 40 min talk time in 3G network.

Well, there is no other information available as of now. You can expect Lumia 720 to be the costlier model with a price tag of around Rs 20,000 while the Nokia Lumia 520 may cost less than Rs 10000 in Indian market. Nokia Lumia 620 sits perfectly between these two Lumias.
