Samsung Galaxy S3 is awarded as the best smartphone of the year 2012. The award is given by GSM Association or GSMA. This is a special event where best smartphone, mobile phone/feature phone, app or technology is awarded by the GSM Association. Galaxy G3 dominates the market and gets the award while ASUS made Google Nexus 7 is awarded as the best tablet of the year. Several other awards are given away in this special event. Samsung is being awarded as Device Manufacturer of the Year, Best Mobile Infrastructure, and Outstanding Overall Mobile Technology. Nokia Asha 305 won the best entry level phone award. Bharti Airtel is in the list as it wins the “Best Application using Network APIs” for my airtel app. On 28th February the best devices showcased in MWC 2013 will be announced.
