Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Could Have a Price Tag of Rs. 8250 [Rumor]

Samsung is working on the Google Nexus 7 competitor! Google Nexus 7 has a price tag of $199 but in Indian market price of the tab is quite high. The 16 GB variant of the 7 inch tab is Rs. 16,699. It’s not quite easy to get one home as in most of the stores you will see it’s out of stock. However, here you can get one for you but at more than 16k price tag. Now coming back to topic, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is the next 7 inch tablet Samsung is working on and the price of the tablet is going to be $149 USD or Rs 8250 in Indian currency.

Currently, in this price segment there are plenty of tablets with SIM card slot available in Indian market. But a Samsung tab in similar price segment simply means something out of the box will be there. Tough competition in Indian market forced Samsung to reduce the price of their current handsets. Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 could have a price tag of around Rs 16500. Specs are unknown but Android 4.1 JellyBean OS, quad core CPU, 1 GB RAM are pretty certain.

  1. U really think Samsung cud cum up wid 9k tablet wid Quad Exynos 4412 & Mali 400 wid 1gb ram & 8gb rom..? Coz I highly doubt it..! Dats nearly impossible, mind u GTab2 already sells at 19k (3g)& 14k(wifi)

    • I am not sure but it might! I know currency conversion does not work in real time but this might happen this time. Plenty of tablets will be launched this year by Samsung. I guess the Note series 8 inch tabs will be priced competitive. Let’s see what happens.
