Samsung still dominates the Android market. You can easily understand the fact from a recent report published by Localytics. It shows that 8 out of 10 most selling Android smartphones are still shipped from the house of Samsung. Without any surprise Galaxy S3 dominates the market with a 9.2% market share followed by Galaxy S2 with 8.2% market share. In the list only Amazon Kindle and Motorola Droid RAZR are the able to include their names in the list. Two Samsung phablets Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 2 are in this list as well. You will be surprised to see that Samsung Galaxy Ace and Galaxy Y are still there in the list in 3rd and 6th spot respectively.
Samsung Dominates Android Market with 47% Market Share
In last couple of years Samsung is continuously dominating the Android market. In this January 47% of the entire market is shipped from the house of this South Korean giant. Two new low-cost JellyBean inside smartphones i.e. Galaxy Young and Galaxy Fame are coming to strengthen the hold in low-end smartphone market. In high-end Galaxy S3, Galaxy S2 are doing exceedingly well. Within next couple of months we will have the next flagship Galaxy S4.
