Sony Xperia Go is a IP67 certified dust and water proof smartphone that can be drawn in water for more than 1 min 30 sec without damaging the device. It’s always advantageous if all a sudden you drop it in water. Out of the box it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. You can upgrade it to Android 4.0 ICS. There is no news on JellyBean upgrade so far. Basically, it’s another version of Xperia Sola. Hardware is pretty similar in both these droids. Display is reduced to 3.5 inch from 3.7 inch which is bit disappointing for many of us. However, dual Cortex A9 processor cores clocked at 1 GHz and Mali 400-MP GPU ensure fast multitasking and better gaming experience.

Li-Ion 1305 mAh battery delivers approx 6 hrs of talk time and 500 hrs of standby time. Music play time of around 45 hrs is quite brilliant. The droid equips 8 GB ROM which leaves 4 GB free and micro SD card slot expandable up to 32 GB.
