NXG Electronics Xfab 2 mini is the newest JellyBean smartphone announced for the Indian market. Powered by dual core Cortex A9 processor the droid sports 4.7 inch IPS LCD display with qHD resolution. Along with dual core processor it equips 1 GB RAM. Multitasking is not just better, it’s better by a decent margin. As you can expect it’s a dual sim smartphone with dual standby nature. Best part of this handset is 12 MP rear facing auto focus camera with 720p HD video recording support.
Normally you expect a 12 MP camera to record full HD video but it can’t as mega pixel value is not the only parameter responsible for video recording. Along with gravity sensor, proximity and ambient light sensor are there. But no magnetic sensor is there like other low-cost smartphones. Literally It has better camera unit but Micromax Canvas HD or Karbonn S1 are better choice for their quad core processors.

Xfab 2 mini belts a 2100 mAh battery. Exact backup time is not provided by the company but do not expect more than 5 hrs of backup. It’s the MediaTek MT6577 SoC that is used in Micromax A110 Canvas 2 and many other low-cost handsets. Therefore, PowerVR SGX531 GPU is there. GPU is not known for extreme gaming but overall compatibility is decent. With 1 GB RAM you can expect most of the games to run in this device. It’s a super slim device with just 6.8 mm profile. This is really impressive feature of this handset.
