Xolo X500 with Intel Atom Lexington up for Sale in Flipkart at Rs 8999

Xolo X500 is now listed by Flipkart at Rs 8999. It’s the second Intel insider smartphone launched in Indian market after Xolo X900. This handset is more powerful as compared to other low-cost smartphones. Although out of the box it runs Android 4.0 ICS it will get upgrade to JellyBean. Thanks to Intel Atom Z2420 Lexington chipset for super fast multitasking. The SoC couples 1.2 GHz Intel Atom processor with Hyper Threading and PowerVR SGX540 GPU. You can expect most of the HD games to run in this handset.

The only down side of Xolo X500 is it’s 3.5 inch HVGA display. Without any surprise display ppi is low, approx 165 ppi. Although display supports 16m colors rendering will not be as impressive as you could think. Remember it’s the only smartphone in less than 10k with IPS LCD display panel.

Xolo X500 is a dual sim smartphone with dual standby feature. The chip also equips HSPA+ radio. Download data at up to 21 Mbps speed. Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery ensures decent hours of usage. You can expect 10 hrs of talk time, 13 hrs of internet surfing over Wi-Fi and 45 hrs of music playback. Xolo X500 sports 5 MP rear camera without LED flash. There is no front camera as well. The droid supports full HD 1080p playback at 30 fps. You must be surprised to see that Xolo X500 smashes 12365 in Antutu benchmark which is more than Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy S2. I am not comparing these devices but just telling how powerful X500 is.
