We already have seen first Intel Atom Z2420 Lexington inside device Xolo X500 yesterday with some cool specs. Most importantly it comes in an amazingly low price. With such an amazing price tag and not to forget the hardware the droid blows everything away from competition in its price segment. The same device is heading to Kenya as Yolo. Yolo will be sold in Kenya by Safaricom at 10999 Kenyan shillings or $126 including 500 MB free data.
The same device will be sold in India by Lava International at Rs 8999. This sounds pretty affordable. Isn’t it? By the way do think it as under-performer, the device scores 12365 in Antutu benchmark test which is more than Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy S2. Forget about other low-end models.
Xolo X500 AnTuTu Benchmark Score
Built on Android 4.0 ICS platform the droid is powered by Intel Atom Z2420 Lexington SoC that couples 1.2 GHz single core processor, PowerVR SGX540 GPU and Intel HSPA radio. The handset also has 512 MB RAM, 5 MP full HD camera, 4 GB ROM, micro SD card slot, 1500 mAh battery. Just 3.5 inch HVGA display sounds bit awkward especially when we see plenty of 5 inch or more phablets at the same price bracket. You wish and it does! As simple as that! How did they miss out a front facing cam on this one?!!
